(We got one of these guys on here talking about what color stitching he should have in his fender covers and another one wonder'in if he should paint a stripe on his truck to match to match his Tohatsu....!) Anyway gitt'in back to the main gist of this dissertation, I was wonder'in if I need to go out and buy one of those Col-umb-ia shirts wif all the pockets, epaulets, and ratchet straps already sowed on 'em? Looks like if you filled everything all up with stuff you'd resemble a Dung Beetle or somethin'. Did 'ya ever notice how them 4 stroke guys always got two or three pairs of sunglasses close by? They wear 'em on top of their hat, on top of their head, on the back of their head, and several around their neck festooned on all kinds of lanyards, halyards and leaders. I noticed most of 'em got real beady eyes and there usually set real close together too, so like them Matrix guys they got to always keep 'em covered up, and that's one of the reasons you see them wearin' those shirts all the time, 'cause they can stow away another dozen pairs or so. OK, so not to get off on that old 2 stroke / 4 stroke argument and stayin' focused like a laser beam on the topic at hand - "Should I get a Mauve colored one or just a white on which is $2.39 less and just throw it in my bilge wif some Purple Stuff and let it slosh around for a week or so?" I'm think'in it would look pretty dang snappy go'in along with them white boots and cut off coveralls I usually wear. I just want to creep up to the cutt'in edge of FASHION without crash'in through the guardrail of the learn'in curve and I know you know about that kind of stuff. Can 'ya help a brother out?
All of my footwear is Brooks with mods.

Terry-Where is a picture of that Classic SeaCraft you own?? Once in a while we here at CSC get bombed by those pesky guys who own a Sailfish boat AKA SeaCraft copy and want to get some misplaced inclusion on CSC! Occasionally credentials are necessary.....I didn't want to do this........Sir can you please provide photographic proof of said SeaCraft with the guilty family included?? While shiny vinyl cushions, flashy instruments, and those fancy hatches with gas shocks are admired by most.....our crew here admires CSC members who have porous gelcoats, tannin stained hulls, 2 smokers, and especially anything to do with fiberglass work. It's your move .....

Dang Snookerd, I can't believe you'd accuse me of being one of the aforementioned. Conner told you I had #462 of Carl's run. What else would you need? I found it abondoned in a field with weeds grow'in up through the trailer! You'er sneakier than the NSA and more intrusive then the TSA check'in up on me like that; but I guess you got your job to do.

First of all you can call home and ask my wife - I always meet the "Smell Test" for this CSC site - a sprinkle of MEK, a dash of Quicksilver Oil, a dollop of Acetone, 1/2 a cup of axle grease and a half pint of Rum!

Besides I always am look'in out to see that other Sea Crafts or even Sail Fish and Sea Wolf owners know about this site. I just helped three get back in one afternoon down in Charlotte Harbor, a couple of weeks ago. Clueless Bastards, but I drug 'em back to the ramp 'cause they had one of "our" boats. (I do warn people regarding the site, about how zany "GoFast-you-know-who" is and how he comes up with all this "off the wall" stuff all the time that you can't possibly track with) So I'm do'in my best to be a good scout, but it's tough!

I do a mean Locust Valley lock jaw. Ask me to order some coconuts at the gathering.

I had a bad roofing accident after Wilma and was not supposed to walk again. Crushed my heels and ankles. When the X ray tech shakes his head in disbelief, you have a row to hoe.
My Brooks technical running sneakers are my best friends. I have them loaded with extra padding, heel cups, and other mods. They are pricy, but no others work like they do and I have tried them all. All I wear. I walk like a bleeding penguin without them.

I have a good recipe for penguin somewhere...

I was down at Bobby Birdsall`s shop today. Been a while since we have had some fun talking boats. He has a barn find bow rider there. Deck was solid. Transom clicked a bit around the scuppahs.

He had a Bahama 41 in there with 7 marines on her. Those things are stupid big and 1200
lbs per. 80k per. Yikes.

Light n right.
Cheers,
Us

"I walk like a bleeding penguin without them"

Funny you mention that........we have seen the bleeding penguin walk across hot coals in action, not a pretty sight!!! I remember you at the last gathering cruising around the island without your "bucky beaver ground grippers" on and the misery you were in the next morning with your feet. Ouch!! Lesson learned, shoes firmly on feet first....libations second!!

I hear ya' Sandy, Most people don't know that your heel bone is more like a light bulb than what one thinks of as a typical bone. If you shatter it with a severe impact and need to re-set it, it would be like putting a light bulb back together with duct tape. Most the time they re-set as a series of broken pieces and it is almost impossible to get it correct without putting it in a new cast every two weeks. My favorite brother-in-law went through that torture for a year.

At Long Point I suppose the important thing is that we get a couple of good confortable chairs by the fire, a half a solo cup of Don's Elixer and just like in CCR's Green River, we'll "watch them barefoot girls danc'in in the moonlight".
Save me a spot in case I'm runn'in late, Bro'......

Still paying for that. Doc Levy told me I cant walk on the beach with shoes on nine years ago. Ok Doc, you got my attention with that one. Broken light bulbs indeed.
