Default Just picked up a 20 cc

Just picked up a 20 that I think will eventually replace my 18. It’s a really original hull and that’s what attracted me to it so much. However, the previous owner had already cut out the factory bait well and cut an access hole in the splashwell. I really don’t have a need for the baitwell so I was looking on recommendations on adding a dry storage box under the factory hatch for the baitwell. I’m assuming I could remove the original pickup for the baitwell and fill the holes? Also, was there originally any sort of bulkhead behind the fuel tank on the 20s? I’ve got a couple pics of it the post and I’ll keep the pics coming as I start working on it.
