Those poor endangered ARS.

Many years ago I was on drift boat with a couple of folks from Miami. Young MB`s
They were ostensibly there to age...Snook. They were to section their otolith and age them. It was mid July and we were on the reef. They were so hopeful.

Don't get me going on the decades old glades restoration project.

Nice haul Martin! Unfortunately they are pretty hard to find this year where I'm at. I've been looking pretty hard up to a 100ft and haven't found a one.

Moose .. they are so thick over here you have a hard time getting past them to catch ANYTHING else ... they swarm the surface when you pull up on a spot before you can drop a bait !!!

Sounds like all the regulatory pain has had a good effect. Turning the water red around the boat is something I haven't seen since the 1960s, before the advent of loran C, gps, etc.

I checked our red snapper season for NC and it closed in July 2014, and catch data would be analyzed to determine if we will have a 2015 season. Not sure when or if a decision will be made for us.
