The layout of the Tsunami is outstanding for divers, as good as it gets. Suggest pitching your marketing in that direction.

Outstanding for Salmon Trolling on the Great lakes (I love my Tsunami)great for that steep close wave pattern on those waters.
I wouldn't be afraid to advertise it on sites like www.glangler.com.
The distance is worth making the drive for a potential buyer.Just ask one of the members on this site(floorboy),who made the run from Minnesota to Massachusetts with his buddy to buy a Tsunami.

Yup. A guy from Washington state drove to Mass. to buy my dad's Sceptre site unseen 2 years ago. When guys know the boat, they don't hesitate to make the trip.

I don't know about under-rated, but definitely most under-appreciated, at least in southern climates.

I would have bought a Sceptre myself, but buying a bigger truck wasn't in the cards at the time. I love cuddy designs. I love the soccer field cockpit. Looking at a Sceptre now, but no room to park it. I need a ranch, or at least an acreage.

IMHO -

The 23' Sceptre /Tsunami is a great boat for many different applications. I chose one as I wanted the pedigree of a 23' Potter WITH storage. My Tsunami was originally a fishing, surfing, beach machine. It has allowed me to stow all my gear in the cabin ( less the longboard which lays along the cockpit gunnel ).

As life/priorities changes, it has allowed for different things; kids beach gear, a weber BBQ, foldable table, umbrellas - family 'chit. When bass season is here ( Spring and Fall ) all that is removed.

So, I guess what I'm saying is that it the best of all worlds. And, it rides GREAT ! I'm sure a streamlined ( lighter in the bow ) 23' CC will ride better, but, man - maybe 'just' noticeably so ( no offense here ). As for fishing - I've fished my boat pretty hard coast ally and have NEVER been envious of any boat. For the $ I have into it after a resto, 10 years later - I'm still completely happy.

Two things I find mandatory - a dependable windlass and a good ladder that gets you through the windshield when you need to…
