Default Islamorada Next Week

I'm going to be in Islamorada with the 25 Seafari and a few friends next week Monday through Friday. If anyone would like to get together to tell lies and have a few cocktails, let me know. The week may start off with a happy hour at the Holiday Isles Tiki Bar Monday evening, but those plans aren't firm yet. If anyone is going to be in the vicinity and wants to get together, chime in.
Dave

Yo Dave,
If you are buying the first 5 rounds count me in....
Skip & Carla are due back at that time, be sure to touch bases with
them as well!!
Have fun...
I would love to be there as well, but this broken shoulder, two broken ribs
and broken tail bone have me down for the foreseeable future...
Yeah, 58 year old men do not bounce like they used to...

Ken,
What the hell did you do to get yourself all busted up like that? Come on down. We'll set you in a chair under the chickee and pour drinks in ya.

I sent Carla a PM. If I don't get a reply, I'll call her.
Dave

OK, you asked for it..
Last month while doing things around my office in Daytona decided
to change out a bad day/night sensor on a mercury vapor light
at the back of the building.. Keep in mind I had spent the whole day Saturday
there "house cleaning". This was the last thing on the list to do.
Well up the ladder I go, Than off the ladder landing on the rail of
my flat bed trailer below, bouncing off it on my back on the pavement.
Shoe lace got caught in the rung, right leg stayed up with the rest of me
coming down.. With all the damage done I have been walking around in a sling
for the last 6 weeks.. I have to tell you this has not been fun..

Hopefully surgery can be avoided.. Time will tell!

Dave,
We're still in the NC mountains! Headed south on Wed (13th), the long way, and won't be in the keys til late Friday (15th). I'm really going to miss seeing you guys and the 25!
If only you could hang around a little longer ....
If not, then have a few for me!
Ken, you get better & let Patti pamper you ... and enjoy it!
Carla

Carla,
Replied to your PM. Hopefully we can get together at least briefly at the end of the week.

Ken,
Ouch! Sorry to hear it. Hope you mend ok without the surgery. I know what you mean about losing the bounce. Seems like everything hurts more these days and it takes twice as long to heal. I hope you're in shape by the end of next month. You gotta be there for mini season.
Dave
