Default Merc 225 Optimax Prop

Is anyone running a 225 Merc Opti on 23 Tsunami or CC? Just bought the new motor but was told that the prop that was on my old engine a 1996 EFI 250 Merc was OK to use. I have a 1974 Tsunami with Hardtop and motor on bracket with 30 inch shaft. I was told boat should do between 5400-5500 rpm at WOT. I am only getting 5100-5200 rpm at WOT. Would like to find out what others are using- Pitch, brand, etc. I am running a stainless steel Quicksilver Merc prop now. Am not really sure of pitch, etc. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks
