Default Hilton Head Island

I'm once again making the trip to HHI for spring break with the family. The girls all like the beach, but I'd rather be on the water catching something.

If anybody (Vezo 1 & 2) in the area has time next week, I'll buy gas, bait and lunch. I'll even throw in BEER and a lesson on the Four Boat Theory. My cell is 585-414-7183.

I'd also travel to Charleston or JAX to fish a SeaCraft!

Oh man, nice times there! I lived in Charleston for 3 years and the fishing there is great. I had no boat but became very adept at surfcasting, still have my 10 and 12 foot rods here. Caught some very nice Reds and other beauties there. Have fun!

Otto,
I am in the Charleston area but alas the Seacraft is ripped apart for a enclosed transom. My step-brother runs the Boaters World in Hilton Head so if you need something tell Jim you need the family discount.

What? Not bringing the Whaler? How are ya Otto? Weekdays are not so good for Part I, but with some notice?.? I should be able to get out. Not sure whats happening just yet. Patiently awaiting the Cobia run in the Calibogue Sound which you crossed a few years ago. May be able to locate one offshore, be more like hunting. Inshore is still alive with sea trout, weakfish family, but Part I was skunked yesterday. He is going out tomorrow. I'm doing a 6 hr. run to retrieve a Tracker warranty boat tomorrow, and will miss fishing again. 20MA is experiencing strange fuel problems since Engine Tuner experience, but should have under control by Sat. morn. Will have to let you know. Whaler left at shop yesterday for a bent/cracked SS tilt/steering tube on 05 F60. Don't expect her home til next Friday. We'll get out one way or another. Ever experienced a Jersey Skiff?

I'll email you our cell #'s. Part II.

Made it to Beaufort (Friday). Will be on HHI Saturday PM. Planing on stopping by the fire station to visit Vezo Part 1 on Easter Sunday and make a plan for going out this week.

Brought surfcasting rod with 4 & 6 oz. We'll see. More interested in SeaCraft cruising. Weather looks great...

Otto, What's Up? Hope you are settled. Sunday, Part I is expecting you at Station 7, the toll booth. He spent all day with me aboard the 20 MA. New fuel seperator, fresh fuel, a few ounces of water disperser (word?), the mechanic aboard and things seem great. Part I's 18 is ready as well. Let's do it! Some trout seem to be only thing available right now. Part I caught a keeper and a (Fla.) gator on Friday. Offshore with bait for Cobes looks like a Beer Run. I am well experienced with this! More fresh fuel, a day off for Part I, and all you will need is the adult beverages of your choice! It's all good. Dinner tonight with some old "Snowbirds". Hope you have reservations! Call Tommy, or post. We are on duty all day and will monitor. Vezo, Part II.

Jason, if you are moderating, thanks for the preview of my post. Barely escaped the men with guns, before retrieving! Mike.

Who needs spell check anyway?
