Default Boat lettering for SeaCraft Name

I recently purchased a 1978 23 foot Seacraft CC w/dual 150 HP Yamahas and brought her home today (reminds me of when I brought my two kids home from the hospital).

Anyway the boat does not have the SeaCraft name on the side. Does anyone know the size and font style that i should be using? Please advise.

Thanks

You also need to proudly display a CSC decal. Do a search for this as well. Welcome to the site. Dink

Peter,

I don't know if the SeaCraft logo is a font we'll find in Windows. Here's a scan of a factory logo:

The name stickers I bought are 3" high x 14" long.

Taken from a post made by Roger last year:

Mainly gourmand with the exaggerated curved base serifs of goudy old style on the r and f. I think that just gourmand will do fine since it seems an exact match for the capital letters and strokes of the others.

If you have MS Word, type "SeaCraft" and change the font to 100 points Gourmand. Then change the character spacing for the letters "SeaCr" to condensed 6 pts. Set "a" to condensed 2 pts, and set "f" to condensed 6 pts. That will bring the letters closer and make the t and f connect, yet keep the a from touching the f.
