Hey Guys,

I hope to see you guys next Sat, but warning, might be with wife and 3-year old daughter . So, it may be a short visit. I usually go during a week night first to check out what i need to see and secretly buy!

On a side note, over many Boston boat shows i have got to know Jim Raftelis at Hyannis Marina pretty well. He is one of the good guys! But not a "classic" guy . I sent him an email if we are welcome to meet at his booth.

Jim's response;

"Hey Nick, as i said before i have no problem with the c.s.c. guys coming to the booth to enjoy seeing and talking about a boat that they are very passionate about, it's great that they want to share their knowledge. I guess what i'm trying to say is everyone is
welcome to come, have fun, and enjoy themselves, but sympathize with the guy
working the show trying to pay the bills." - Jim R.

After the 10 hr/9 day show, he is all smiles when i drop off a bottle of OUZO.

See you at the show! - Nick

Well, it was a small turnout yesterday at the SC booth - John R, cSickNick, the dink, and myself. It was nice to meet the dink (Rich) and hear all about his project 23 - good luck and keep us posted. John and Nick, good seeing you guys again. The guys from Hyannis Marine (Jim and Steve) were nice enough to let us linger around as long as we wanted without getting the evil eye .

Hooper, did you ever make it to the show?

Guys-

I am sorry I couldn't make it, I ended up working a double shift on Saturday and since I had to be back at midnight, something had to give. Overtime is at a premium this time of year and since I am feeding a wicked seacraft addiction, I need the cash!

It really sucks when life's responsibilities get in the way of BOATS!

I am glad that you guys had a good time and a few laughs I am sure.

Hooper

Sorry I didn't get to meet you. Perhaps we can wet a line in the Spring.
It was good to meet and talk to Scott and everyone else and listen to the various ideas to better our boats.
I'm working on the logistics to go to the Dania flea market.
Is anyone looking to double up at a hotel to share costs?
