HAMMER/FELLOW-SHIP

GOOD CHOICE with the Stainless one.....was wondering if after a while the $350 wheel would start to pit... Hammer any web site to the place you purchased your wheel???

How is the knob attached to the wheel....is it through bolted or is there a threaded post in the rim of the wheel itself (so nothing is protruding out the underside of the wheel)????

Curious..... Is there any reason why you went with the 13" wheel over the 16"?? I think right now my wheel is 16".

Thanks guys

HA SCOTT
THE WHEEL IS THROUGH BOLTED AND LOOKS GREAT. I WENT WITH THE 13” WHEEL BECAUSE OF SPACE. I DIDN’T WANT TO SACRIFICE TO MUCH ROOM IN THE CENTER CONSOLE PANEL FOR A WHEEL. THE 13” IS THE RIGHT SIZE IF YOU ARE USING A HYDRAULIC STEERING SYSTEMS.

I installed an Edson 13 and recently sent it back to drill on the suicide knob, which works great. At the time that I bought mine the others werent on the market I would of probably gotten the least expensive one because they also look good.

What wheel did you replace....was it the original 16" destroyer wheel???

Im curious how the 13" wheel "feels" over the larger original wheel...sounds like you like it

Scott,When I bought the boat it did'nt have the original. The Edson 13 is perfect and feels great. I coul'nt go bigger because the binacle would be in the way. I put the wheel in the center and the binacle to the right.RS

Hey everybody, I have the edson 13' power wheel with knob. I didn't see the other "gemlux'' wheel till one year later. If I had seen it sooner I would have saved the $ and went with the gemlux, they both look great.
