Default Any interest in a Gulf Coast gathering ?

There seems to be more gulf coast folks on here now.. Is there any interest in a Gahtering on the gulf coast say in Pensacola or Orange Beach area gathering ? It would be fairly central for the guys in either direction on the northern gulf... and unlike our northern bretheren we can have ours in the fall or even early winter / offseason ?? Just putting it out there.. and if we wanted to make it a camping venture on the beach there is the GULF STATE PARK on lake shelby in Gulf Shores.. this is a fresh water lake on the beach it has cabins as well as tent and motorhome spots. Just throwing up a idea.

I would love to do it, however I don't own a SeaCraft anymore.

exactly... i thought this would be a fantastic forum.. it has the lake so our babies can be in some soft water... its only a short trailer ride to OB to launch .. ( less than 5 miles from the park) to drop in about 500 yards from the bridge to the pass.. and 1000 yards to the gulf... the islands across from the ramp are in 60% of the pictures of orange beach with boats stacked 2 or 3 deep on big weekends.. so fall would be a good time between the summer crowd and the snowbirds... there are cabins to rent that are very nice that are on the lake.. the only draw back is if you drop your boat in the lake you have to pick it back up to drop in the salty stuff.. It doesnt have to be there though.. could have the meet up at ony of the local on water watering holes... ( we frequent severel and could plan ahead.. we have a regular table at tacky jacks in ob on most sundays..

Once the weather warms up people might check the site a little more.

if it gets much warmer i wont be camping... i tent camp and the pickens camping by tent gets pretty ruff once the blood suckers start coming out..lol but could plan for the fall of spring next year... for that fact with our winters ... early winter could be an option..

thinking i may need to print some basic flyers with the website info to keep in the trucks. i looked at 1 20 MA in orange beach and 1 20 SF in gulfshores last week. No owners around but could have stuck a flyer or buisness card sized flyer on both..
