mounting question
I don't post often but really would like to start learning a little more about my boat. I bought a 23 cc superfish 2 years ago. It is an 86 hull and it has a notched transom. I was wondering if my motor is mounted properly. I'm running a 2 stroke 225 suzuki with a 25" inch shaft. The boat on plane and trolling ride well but I was wondering how it should properly be mounted any way just to see. I suspect I may be able to go a little higher with it by using a jack plate. What do you guys do when it comes to mounting an engine properly??

Re: mounting question
Get a straight edge and bring the motor to neutral trim, see where the cavatation plate lines up should 1 to 1 11/2" above the hull bottom. Props with long blades or alot of cup can go higher
