Steering Vibration 23 SF Inboard
The boat is a new purchase for me. While running any speed on plane I get a vibration, and audible groan turning to the left.
Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for any help. |

Re: Steering Vibration 23 SF Inboard
I would check the rudder shaft and/or rudder shaft bushings.

Re: Steering Vibration 23 SF Inboard
hey fr. frank,
How about checking the shaft for true and the cutlass bearng at the strut. Might have caught a line and bent the shaft or even the rudder skeg got whacked along the way? just my 2 cents.

Excellent idea. I got caught up in the turn to the left.
