Default Plexiglass windshield

I have a 1985 Seacraft Classic Center Console that needs a new windshield. It currently has a "smoked color" windshield that is cracked and I wnat to replace it with a clear one. Can someone point to where I can obtain this?

Regards,
Bob

Taps Plastics or any plastic supply/fabricator can make you one. Bring the old one in or make a template out of cardboard It's as easy as that.

Bob - Welcome Aboard...

I removed my windshield when I bought my SeaCraft and took it to a local glass shop that fabbed a new one for me.. It was in bad shape but we were able to piece it back together to get the measurements.

If I remember correctly it was about $150 and that was a long time ago. Plexiglas is not that hard to work with (with practice) and I know several people have made there own..

Depending on the price you might even consider going with Lexan instead of acrylic glass (Plexiglas)..

I made my one out of Lexan. I went and bought a heat gun at Home Depo for about $30. and bought ¼” stock. Lexan doesn’t crack or shatter like Plexiglas does. Came out looking good saved some $$ and still have stock left over for other projects. I clamped some wood stock on both sides of the material and heated it up and bent it. I never did it before and just practiced on a couple of small pieces to practice on first. I would do it again. If you go with Plexiglas you will need to use thicker stock which is a little harder to work with if you do it yourself.
