Default A-Rod to the Sox?

Hey Guys...

Is anyone else as interested in this possible trade as I am? I am far from a baseball expert, but I do watch the Sox a lot during the season. Even with the Pats at a remarkable 12-2 and headed to another Super Bowl(I believe), I find it fascinating that the talk around New England is still ALL SOX. If you turn on WEEI, the sports talk station in Boston, it is probably 80-20 in favor of the Red Sox to the Pats. Isn't that something? Perhaps it is the most bold example that I have ever seen of how strongly this region feels about this team.

I feel lucky to be able to call the Sox the hometown team. Someday, soon, we will win it all.

Well I believe that the big names don't really win championships. look at my team the Miami Marlins they had average Joe's (except for Pug) that worked well as a team and ohh? they aren't jinxed like you're sox meeee.I believe Garciaparra is among the top 5 best SS in the league why get rid of him. I guess drastic situations are followed by drastic actions like us down here we expect a lot from the Dolphins too. But hey we have the Marlins and once again World Champions.Patriots will go all the wayyyy.

Everyone from New England knows that Nomah is a great player, but the real issue is that he doesn't want to play in this market anymore. He won't re-sign in Boston, especially after all that's happened over the last few weeks. The team's main concern is to dump Manny the retard. Hey, will take A-rod, and Magglio Ordonez for Nomar and Manny anyday. We shall see.... Apparently the decision has to be made by tomorrow evening....

Hoop - if what I'm hearing today is true as opposed to what I was listening to yesterday - YES, this is fantastic. Yesterday I was hearing Nomar going for pitching that would then be sent with Manny AND x Million per year to Texas for A-Rod. THAT IMO is way too much. But what I'm hearing today is the cat's nuts
