Re: Spring Project(s) 74 20SF
I think it looks cool! I don't see the 'Seatt'. I see what you see. Bottom line... it's yours to make what you want of it. You'll probably have to explain it to a few, but, it'll catch on. If it starts to gnaw at you, slide the ++ over a little more for some separation.

Re: Spring Project(s) 74 20SF
The illusive 4' Gigginhauler. One of my friends dad, RIP, decided he wanted something to haul his flounder gigging gear in and made the mold many years ago. It's gelcoated, but I camo'ed it for duck hunting. Not that exciting, but, I snickered everytime I posted, waiting for somebody to bite. All in the name of fun!
Also, wanted to show off my new bling on the console. http://i833.photobucket.com/albums/z...s/100_2000.jpg

Re: Spring Project(s) 74 20SF
I am by no means an electrician either, and you seem to have put time, effort, and therefore thought into this by the looks of your drawing. If I'm reading the drawing right, you have 2 bilges, but only 1 wired directly to a battery. I wired both of mine with switches each to their own battery. Hopefully taking a dead battery out of the equation. The other thing I noticed was your electronics are wired to the master switch. I read somewhere that electronics should be wired directly to a battery. Wiring where you have it will eliminate voltage drop due to load or resistance, but it may pick up noise from any number of things including alternators.
Again, I'm only spewing what I did and what I read. |

Re: Spring Project(s) 74 20SF
I would put a switch(on-off-auto) on the bilge pumps as well. My thoughts are that when the boats on a trailer and you get frequent heavy rains like here in South Florida you could end up with your pump running unnecessarily and draining your batteries.
