Primer is cheaper than paint, and easier to sand, you have gone this far and done a beautiful job, take it from an A boat to an A+ boat.

I applied two coats of Signature over the weekend to my CC, fishbox and cooler. I was really surprised at how thin the paint was, almost the consistency of varnish. Capt. Chuck steered me in the right direction on application techniques and I think it will turn out nice when I apply the final coat and buff. Per Tom's direction I didn't prime either. One thing I noticed was that areas that had been faired didn't cover as quickly as the ones that were sanded gelcoat. The second coat almost made them disappear.

Spray it with Gelcoat and Duratec.Keep it original gelcoat.
Duratec is a high gloss additive you mix with the gelcoat and it really comes out nice. You will still need to sand and buff tho.I like Gelcoat.but thats me,,good luck

I have been scanning the various sites for pricing on an engine and it seems like it would be better to buy a boat/ motor/ trailer together take the engine and trailer and sell the boat for whatever you can get.

Right now I'm at the point that I need a trailer...any trailer... just so I can get it moved to where I'm going to paint it

Prices for engines seem to be right there with the package.
I have also missed out on the "free" section that people were giving away trailer and boats, one tow company hade the boat/motor and trailer that would have been perfect.
150 Merc EFI aluminum trailer and it had trim tabs steering and other equipment for the taking...Called right away and the guy said I was #2 in line.
