Boat is coming along, I am sure you will be happy once it is complete!
I now see the drain on the bottom of the hull for the bow compartment. Mine does not have that. It just is open to below the fuel tank which just flow through the bilge.

I am also getting ready to order a hermco bracket. Is yours new or did you already have that? Is it the larger model or the single?

Looks great!,
Thank you. The Hermco bracket is new. It's his large model and capable of holding twins. The large hatch is bilge access.

Was your ox-66 30" original or are you converting your motor?

So the heat index has been over 100 for way too long and it's hot as sh!t!!! I keep tellin' people it's my diet plan as I've lost 6 or 7 lbs. the past week. I should mount the bracket/motor this week. All rod holders, cleats, bow rail, hinges, etc. are on. I brightened up the t-top Sat. w/Woody Wax. The first time I've tried it and it seemed to do OK. Trim tabs are mounted and bracket relieved for short Bennett cyls. Pucker factor was way high drilling bracket/rigging holes. I decided to go with Hermco's thru-bracket rigging; Thanks Don!!

The transom is ~ 2 5/8" thick

I moved some pics within photobucket so they don't show, sorry. The bracket/motor are on and yes, it's still over 100 here I decided to run the rigging through Don's bracket so the large hole gets his aluminum sleeve and the smaller hole gets pvc and hyd. steering. I still need to add the 5" Bay Manuf. engine extension to make this a 30".

Boat sure looks nice! I like the color!
Have you done the engine extension yet? If not could you please take pictures and post them with information?
Which leaning post is that? Looks like that is the live well? Can you also post some more pictures of that?
Thanks

I am impressed. looks really good. I think I am eventually going to buy a hermco bracket for mine... question: did you have to move the trailer axles any to compensate for center of gravity shift?? if so, approx. how much??

Thanks all!! Bay Mnfg ext. kit is 2-3 weeks backordered. McKee "pogy pen" lp/lw. mckeecustomboats.com The trailer was sized/adjusted with the old bracket. I haven't moved anything. Those are scarab chris led deck lights. They're very. very bright and burn nothing. My nav, deck, baitwell, and (eventually under gunwale) are led. I'll get more pics when Irene's over
