Weather or knot
40% chance of rain, or you can look at it as 60% chance of no rain....
This event is on rain or shine, wind or calm, small craft of flat..etc use your own judgement......if thunder storms are around just hold off,,,just show up later, most of the deck bar is under roof,,,, Sea U there Joe R. 20ft Classic SeaCraft Susie II

Great get together
Well we just got back from our Atlantic City gathering,,,all had a great time, met some new SeaCraft guys, along with old friends ,,,The weather was great ,shared some good drink and food, talked for hours, checked out each others boats,,,all in all had a great time,
Bruce & Jen (workinprogress) with their 20cc, as usual, they were there first, John and Don (new guys to our gathering) John ran his unreal looking newer 23 up from Ocean City by way of the ocean in a NE blow, but thats what SeaCrafts are known to run in, Don is also a known local fisher guy who owns a 29 Regulator Joe & his wife came back again this year from Brigantine, His 1972 total restore 23cc with a custom made pilot house is something to see Looks like a brand new custom rig Jim Vis made the long run from his slip (just across the basin from the gathering) LOL his 25 cc rigged up for his charter business he has been running out of the Atlantic City, I made the 15 min run from Absecon Creek with my good friend Ed in my 1970 Potter 20cc Last but not least...Dunk that saw my post on the Bass barn ,,, even though he is not a SeaCraft owner , he just wanted to join in...he ran his flats boat all the way from Stone Harbor by way of the ICW, thats a long way, but that boat flys Many other friends from the local boating / fishing community were there also adding to the great time... LOOKING FWD to our next get get together...... workinprogress (Bruce) may post some photos here soon ... Joe R. 20ft Classic SeaCraft Susie II

Send me some Pics
Bruce and Jen Nice to meet you and that 20 is clean....
John and Don made the ride outfront, but, of course, no worse for wear. I still think Joe M is the queen of the fleet and Joe Jr. definatley has the classic heritage...with all the woodwork, Beautiful stuff. Glad me and my 25' could be a part of it! [email protected] Thanks! Jim |
