So, everything is going great! The df140 is humming nicely. Finally had calm enough water last night to open her up. Binnacle lever bottoms out at the teak trim piece precisely at 6100 rpm. GPS speed was reading 41.8 mph. That's a gracious plenty for me, probably won't see it very often anyway.

I finally got around to running a piece of tape along the bottom edge of the original bootstripe so I could see/show how she's sitting. Can't access my botophucket account so no old pics, but, it's riding about 2 to 2-1/2" higher. Happy Days! Take a look...

Worth mentioning, I now take all my pics (iPhone 7) with the lens rotated so the 'shutter' button is on the left. Haven't got a crick in my neck since!

A little overdue, but, here are some pics of my leaning post. It was powder coated in white so I media blasted where the welds were going so we could get it to the size I needed and reinforced adequately. After getting it right, I decided to paint it so I media blasted it, primed with self etching primer then several coats of Rustoleum. Took awhile to save my pennies, but finally got the cushions made. I took some 1/2" azek board to make the backing for the lp cushion. Found the radius I wanted and heated the material until I could get the bend I wanted. Worked very well! Anyway, here are some pics.

Sorry. I guess a downward angle changes the orientation of the pic. Ugh!

Well done! It’s a great feeling when you finally get to splash your new boat!

Just wanted to share a pic of my most favorite Christmas gift EVER! My daughter painted it for me.
