anyone gotten their hands on a DF140BG yet??
or seen one out in the wild?
good solid info on this new model has been pretty hard to come by, but i'm thinking this is the outboard of choice should I ever finish my 20SF resto suzukis website is almost as "rustic" as the CSC forum, so the only thing i've been able to find is "heavier than a DF140A" |

What are the supposed improvement? Or maybe that is what you are inquiring about?

ive read all the press releases, which claim increased compression ratio, torque, high end speed, fuel efficiency, and quieter running noise. they also say its "slightly heavier" though there seems to be no official number from suzuki on what the actual weight is. i wouldve though there would be some more literature or coverage by now, if not from suzuki, then from some third parties who've gotten to test it. makes me wonder if theyve actually even released it to the public yet

The old version was 397 lbs which was excellent. The closest competitor was a 150 Yamaha at 475.

I haven't seen that but it would be a game changer. Nothing nicer than fly by wire.
