Default 86 23wa

Picked up 1986 23 WA raised transom to 30" for G2 300hp Etec, replaced decks, new moeller fuel tank. The forward deck drains connect overboard at water line just forward of step up. Question is how do you access to change hoses? Bridge deck has 30" center box with 14x14 wing boxes. Hate to remove bridge deck for access. Any ideas? What are those wing boxes with drain for ?

Cut a hole and install an inspection hatch to gain access.

Thought of that. Unfortunately have to go through inner side liner and at deck level it's 2' below. Deck width only 7" in the area. Crazy design

Thanks

You have to drill the liner just below the filler flange a tad for a small inspection camera.

Or cut the top cap around the filler.

Any gas smell and you need hand tools.

Ended up cutting 8” beckson inspection ports into the step up for access to the hull overboard drains. Great access now. Thanks
