Seacraft 20
I am looking at purchasing a 1971, Seacraft 20 with new deck, stringers and transom. Transom is @ 25 inches now. I have a 2017 Etec 90, 20 inch outboard from previous boat. I can cut transom down 2 inches and cap. Problems with outboard being too low in water? Any suggestions?

NO keep it at 25"! Get a 5" extension kit.......if they make them for that engine.

Will this extension kit void any warranty?

Warrenty........you don’t need no stinkin’ warrenty on those 90’s. You’ll give that to your grandson someday. Those little triples are bullet proof.
