Default Tabbing sole

After tabbing in the sole how far up the sides should I run the cloth when I glass in the floor

I think I did 3-5 inches.

I used a roll of 6" bi-axle tape for tabbing. Half on the sole and half up the sides, I then laid up my 2cd layer of 10 oz. cloth over the sole and a few inches or so up the sides and past the tape.

2 layers 1708 DBM should be at or exceed scantling rules. Second layer bigger than 1st. I did 6" wide, then 8" wide. In vinylester.

Some people do wider first. Easier to lay up. But a little more susceptible to peel failure mode. If laminating overhead, easier is a good thing.
