Flordia trailer requirements?
what the rules in flordia? do I need breaks on My trailer to haul My 25 seafari from Georgia to the Cape Coral area and then down to the keys?
I have a tandum 24/26 slip-on alum with 3500lb axels and 15" tires .....,and no breaks Im planing a trip back to her old home next summer or fall and just planing ahead.

Yes, Fl does require brakes on BOTH axels if over #3000. Also, I have heard that the Monroe County Police carry portable scales they use to check weight limits

Last time I was in Fla with the boat it had to be strapped down to the trailer.

Monroe County is the worst!!!
They popped me for not having cab clearance lights on the truck because of the T-top.... Just have all your lights in order before you take off.. That is the first thing they look at!!

we just trailered from Port Richey to Islamorada and back with no trouble.. 21 hydro no brakes. brother in law rairly trailers his boat and didnt want to pony up... lol
