Looking good Alan, I see you took some pics before the snow flew!!
I have been lucky enough to put my boat in a storage shed for the winter and have the first layer of plywood already in the transom. Engine beds are coming next and Ive been spending alot of time searching for an "organ donor" boat with a motor and drive for the seacraft. I'll post pics soon, console fits nicely in the boat so far. Looking forward to seeing your project come along. Brendan. |

Thankyou for the kind words. The bracket should be here soon and I plan to build a shelter around the transom so I can get started on it in spite of the weather.Good luck with yours. Is it located in Plymouth?I would like to see it if possible.
Thanks Alan |

With any luck here, you'll have some warm weather to get that shelter up- mid to upper forties in January?! Sounds good to me.
Yes, boat is in Plymouth. I will let you know when I have a couple things cleaned up to come take a look. I started the glasswork and then decided that I should look for a broke down winter special for the drive and trailer. Turns out I found a real basketcase of a searay that has been taking up all my time to strip down. Glasswork temporarily on hold. Trailer looks good, outdrive/ gimbal/ transom assm. are great, motor is cooked (Either hydro-locked or thrown rod or something major wont turn with a breaker bar). So I guess I'll be into a longblock soon. Price was right, whatever that means... more work to come. Ill be in touch. |

40 degrees sounds cold and scary and to think I get irritable when its 50 and raining... Love them Seafari's, Sceptre! Is that Bigshrimpins ol' CA rig? Hang tough, Hooligan! You guys ever run into CSickNick? I think he's a bit north of you guys... liferaft and hardtop with a Zuke 140 on a Seafari. Probably a GBFT tail sticking out Stay warm fellas.

nice boat! I gave away a seafari when I moved off nantucket and have been regretting it ever since. I'm going to have to find another; preferably with an i/o.
By the way, I live in Harwich and work 2 days a week in Plymouth. Need a hand w/ anything, let me know. Steve
