Default Merc V6 parts

I have a V6 lower unit - 20", already has a SS SkegGuard-$110 - $450+ shipping - came off a running motor that met a untimely holy demise. I asked someone about shipping and was surprised it wasn't bad, don't remember now ------- SOLD

also have an entire '95 V6 200 EFI system - minus ECU
would like to sell the batch but may piece it out

40amp Stator -- new 450
Timing plate
2 Rectifiers --- new 150ea
Throttle Body
VST

Low speed pump

virtually everything unbolted from an EFI, except the ECU and electric fuel pump - including brackets, bolts and rubber spacers - motor was being switched to Carbs for High Performance use

$400 for the whole batch - will discuss individual parts, I have replaced most so I know some of the prices and might be willing to keep some as spares LOL

Might be interested in the lower unit. Knocked a chunk out of the AV plate on my 150XR4. Got any pics?

close your eyes and picture yours before you knocked the chunk out it - the pretty black paint, the SS shaft sticking out the top - you got it LOL

computer won't acknowledge the camera so pics are out, it was a freshwater motor from Polk county so no corrsion at all and very very clean, has one on those stainless SkegGuards on the skeg - might help you with future chunks

motor was running until the end, the blown block and tower housing was sold to another party

My LU hasn't had pretty black paint in years.

I'm interested. Do you know the gear ratio?

I 'm quite sure its the standard run of the mill 1:87, on Scream & Fly I have heard about a 2:1 but have no clue what they were used on, I'm guessing High Performance applications.

The paint is perty black except on the SkegGuard, they tried to paint it but the SS didn't take it well. It was a freshwater motor from Lakeland so it doesn't have our sand rash on the nose.

Egg's - 2:1 was used for 2.0L 135hp/150hp motors . . . 1.87 was on 2.4/2.5L 175hp/200hp. 2:1 gives you a little more torque cause of the gear ratio, but 1.87 is a generally a more desirable all around lower unit. The 150 2.4L xr4 had an odd ball 1.78 with an odd ball small diameter housing 4.25" . . . The small housing was a little faster (less to push through the water), but gears didn't holdup (probably cause most people abused them and it only came in 20" flavor. All 3 were interchangeable on the 135 - 200hp 2.0L - 2.5L
