Gillie, my gear ratio is 2.33:1 That's how I spin the higher pitch.

I run a 1985 V4 90HP RudeJon on my 1979 18SF and I can make it to 12 mile reef and back on 8+- gallons cruising at 23 knots,4900rpm with a SST 13 7/8 x 17 three blade prop.I am actually gonna try a 4 blade soon so I'll do another check then.Good Luck

I have owned Classic 23 and 18 foot CC Mako's...They were nice but My Classic SF18 SeaCraft is where its at!
Cant wait till I can get a Master Angler!
