Re: Ball Scupper Confusion
The Raybud ball "check valves" are designed for thru-transom scuppers. Do a search for Fellowship's "Vortex" check valve device for thru-hull scuppers. They work pretty well but they won't fix a fundamental problem, like an engine heavier than the boat was designed for!

Re: Ball Scupper Confusion
I have used the Rabuds for years and years....
Bob Hewes was the first to use them on the BoneFisher over 15 years ago when I spotted them at the Miami Boat Show. They work great !!! Just keep some spares in the boat. After about 5 years the rubber gets alittle stiff and they do not seal as when they were new. Still the best out there !! See ya, Ken

Re: Ball Scupper Confusion
Dilligaf,
Sorry for the miss information I was thinking through the transom. I have never seen a through hull scupper on a 23 inboard. I can't wait to see your performance numbers with your diesel! |

Re: Ball Scupper Confusion
Why would the Rabud ball scuppers not work on thru hull drains? the drains on my 20SF come out on the bottom corner of the hull side, very near where a thru transom drain would exit.
