Default Long Point prop swap meet.

This is black magic in mho. Father Frank ,Big Shrimpin, and others have MUCH more cred on the top at hand. I am saving the mounting of my new to me mirage + prop for Long Point for those like me who are wondering what it might be like to have a stern lifting prop on their little friends. You must bring a Merc Flow Torque hub specific for your motor. 45 - 60 clams. This prop will fit any V6 manufacturers spline from `89 on from what I`m told. Merc makes proper hubs for Yami`s, Jhonny`s, Zukes and all.I`m bringing a 3 ft. 1/2" breaker bar, wood and a smile for those who might want a free demo. Don`t forget the cotter pins. Prop`s in nice shape.I think it`s a 15.235 X17 pitch. Part # 48-18278 x 17 pitch.

George at G&S said what many here have said. STERN LIFTING PROP. I love George. He keeps me from making stupid fng mistakes as do all of you. Many thanks!

Gather information, rinse, repeat as necessary.

My Michigan Rapture 14 1/2 X 17 gives me a 2 way gps of 37 - 39 mph at 54-5500 rpms with 3 and 30 gals fuel, w bimini up on my `89 20 sf in-shore. That seems way too low. I`m looking for some Lenco tabs.......9x12 anyone? Thoughts?

Sandy, do you have the hub part for that Mirage that will adapt it to the OMC/BRP V-6 lower unit? If so, I'd like to try it!

I have 2 4-blade Michigan props that anyone is welcome to try: a Vortex (Al) 14x18 (repitched from 20") that my E-Tec will turn at 5600/45 mph; and an Apollo (SS) 14.125 x 20 that turns 5100/49 mph, with full fuel and top up but otherwise light load. I have the OMC/BRP adapter hub. If you have a different motor, you'll have to supply appropriate adapter.

Since I'm looking for a prop it would be nice to have tools and stuff to swap some props around. I don't think I can use a 17 and need at least 19 but it would still be nice to try some different props.

Denny ,

I have the hub for v6 omc and will bring to L.P. . Not sure if brp is same. For others jot down prop # and get a flow torque hub for trial.
