Default Mariner 225hp EFI

Seeking info on my engine. Will be getting it looked at next week due to recent problems... Running rough at idle and especially between 1000 and 1400rpm's. I changed plugs and it didn't fix it. So I believe it to be an injection problem...What say you good gentlemen????

Many Thanks, Hooper

Hey Hooper

Any resolve yet??? Did this start after the "winter blanket" came off or was the motor running OK this spring and then this problem started...

How about your fuel...I bet you know where I'm going here......any water in it...is it old fuel???

Scott-

Good point, I had not thought of fuel yet.... I am scheduled to have a mechanic look at it next week so I'll know more then. Strange tho, I fished yesterday and when I have it at cruiser, about 4K to 4100rpm's it purrs great, but coming down the river at 1000rmp it shakes and coughs...so I will see soon. I do have a fresh tank of fuel in it and the seperator is good too. Time will tell. Thanks for the reply scott!

Gordon
