Default T-Top height. Mine was shortened and I want to extend it

Hey Guys. I just brought home my 72 Seacraft SF from Oregon yesterday. Not sure the neighbors are too excited about it though!
The previous owner, a friend of mine, cut down the T-Top before he installed it and I want to extend it. I am 6'2" and my head hits the outside rim and I almost knocked myself out from the rod holders, which are even lower. He said he thinks he cut it down so the center mount would attach to the center console. Instead of buying a new one I am just going to extend the four legs. The holes won't line up again so I was thinking of using a longer plate on the bottom to make the old holes work. Not sure about that part though.
With the new height the center rail will extend past the top of the console, which I think is ok with me.
He also extended the length of the top with more aluminum so the plexi could be back farther for more protection from the wind.
So, how tall is the normal T-Top?

Thanks
