1989 20 Seacraft

Never had a Seacraft before and I'm looking at a 1989 with a 140 Suzuki.

Boat was recently redone by a boat yard.

Seller mentioned Seacraft was bought by Tracker. Is this a concern? Was Potter the designer? What should I look for? Deck fuel tank and transom are newer as in redone within 2 years....

How fast should this boat run? I don't want to put my kids in a 40 knot death trap.

What's the difference between the late 70's and late 80's 20 foot hulls?
