Default Tsunami Control Upgrade

Considering Tsunami dash space for an electronics junkie is extremely valued real estate I opted for side mount controlls for my outboard. Function was way more important than pretty so I did'nt really mind the visible wires and cables as it has served well over the last 10 years.

Recently I had noticed a little slop in the controller and actually had to wiggle the lever to hit the sweet spot on the neutral safety switch on my last trip. This was a little concerning to me as I venture way offshore and did not want a risk having a starting issue. When I started shopping I noticed a flush mount option for my motor on the Suzuki home site. I checked with my tech and discussed the harness upgrade I would have to make to go with the flush mount and remote key. This option looked cleaner and was only a few bucks more than replacing it with the same unit. After a good day of changing the harness all the way to the motor and (gulp).... putting a big hole in the inner gunnel, I was rewarded with a very functional and attractive throttle control that took up less space and got rid of the utilitarian "Bass boat" controller I went with originally.
