1971 Seacraft - Looking for a good and reasonable fiberglass shop Lower Cape Cod
Hi Folks,
I have cut out the floor of my 1971 Seacraft center console (Potter Hull) and found that the stringers were all in tact, no rot. The initial reason for the cut out was due to delaminated floor, which also lead to most of the butcher-block wood floor to be mush. The bottom fiberglass shell was in good shape, but needed to be removed to make sure the stringers were sound. Also the floatation foam is all in tact, no damage.
Here is where I need help. I am located in Harwich Ma. (Lower Cape) and looking for a fiberglass shop that can lay down a new floor properly, but at a fair price. I know I need the deck vented, also want cross supports, and reinforced areas for the above deck gas (40 gallons) and possibly a T-Top.
When I cut the floor, I left 4 inches around the outer floor, but also do not know how or what kind of a tool I need to remove the 2nd and 3rd layer, leaving the top skin of fiberglass?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Joe
