Default Interlux Perfection shelf life

I have been working on my 1975 23 cc and have had good results with Interlux Perfection paint. However, several of the stores seem to have old paint on their shelves. I called Interlux and read the codes from the bottom of the paint can and cure can. They will not give you the key to the code but I had so many cans I was able to figure out their paint code:
E - 2004, F - 2005, G - 2006, H - 2007, I - not used, J - 2008, K- 2009, L - 2010, A - Jan, B - Feb, C - March, D - April, E - May, F - June, G - July, H - Aug, I - not used, J - Sept, K - Oct, L - Nov, M - Dec.
Some of the cans I just purchased were from 2004 so I returned them. Others were from 2010/Jan (The code started with LA____.) The manufacture's recommended shelf life is about 2 years for unopened cans when you speak with them. I ended up using some paint that was up to 4 years old with no issues. Hope this helps the next person.
