I think the same pitch is fine in the Black Max. 1 hole will likely make the difference. The Black Max will turn easier so you'll likely gain some rpm there too. May even allow you to go up an inch or 2 of pitch giving you more top end and efficiency at cruise. That being said, you will almost certainly get more mph, mpg and thus range, with a stainless prop.

As far as trim tabs go, 18 X 9 would probably work nicely.
