Default mercury trim problem

hey guys
i had a trim motor go out on me so i replaced it with a brand new mercury motor. everything used to work fine and now when i put the new motor on and put fluid in the resevoir i get no movement. ive heard that its self bleeding but i must be doing something wrong here. does anyone happen to have a manual on cd or possibly a way to post the steps to properly fill and bleed a 93-95 trim system? i think thats the year. my trim unit fills from the back. any help would be great. ive got about 2 weeks to get this right and its driving me up the wall. thanks guys!!
