Default Comparison of Core Materials

I found this article by West System very interesting,
comparing core materials of XL plywood, Okoume Marine plywood, balsa, and core cell foam ... weights, cost.

http://www.westsystem.com/ewmag/23/p...lat_panels.pdf

I've heard of XL plywood before, how it is kiln-dried & very rot resistant. Has anyone used/worked with XL plywood?

Giving consideration to which type of materials to use for bulkheads, cockpit sole, decking, etc.
