I got the cap off and flipped. will go on sawhorses and get recored in the bad spots with nida. gonna cut as little as possible of the original (still solid) core and beef up around the rod holders and hawse pipes. I pulled the old foam out and was amazed at how much resin smell came out. smelled like someone had just laid it up.
