Those Yammies are great engines even though they are 24 years old. However, as others have said, they are 24 years old so expect repairs even with such low hours. Sounds like a nice set-up overall and based on the sea conditions you described, shouldn't be an issue for the 23. And your new truck is more than adequate towing that rig long distances especially if the trailer has functioning brakes.
