Sandy I'm not towing the boat full of fuel any good ideas on where to fill up on Blue Heron - what are the prices over there, might want to fill up in Ockeechobee
Dixon, here's a link on current gas prices in the area. If you're coming in the Beeline, you'll go right past the cheapest one ($3.629/g), a Cumberland Farms store at SE corner of Military Trail and Blue Heron. That Racetrack Sandy mentioned is just east of there and has the cheapest premium at $3.929/g.

There is a lot of construction on Blue Heron east of US 1. Four lanes are reduced to 2 from US 1 all the way to Singer Island and north on A1A to the NPB line where the condos end. Pretty congested from about 4-6 pm, so best to get here before then. Alternate route for rush hour would be to turn off the Beeline on PGA Blvd and follow it across US 1 to A1A over to Singer Island and south to Blue Heron. A lot more traffic lights on PGA but will be less congested east of US 1, and when you get on Blue Heron headed west, Phil Foster Park will be a simple right turn after you cross the little bridge. BTW, that little bridge just east of the park is also a great snorkel spot at slack high tide if you want to see tropical fish. Denny
