Default Raycor Question

My twin Raycor fuel filters on my CC are currently located under the hatch located about 4 ft in front of the transom next to the fuel tank. 2 reasons I don't like them there, water from the deck leaks through the hatch and rusts them which is a knucklebuster of a job every year spinning off the filter from the mount then removing the see through plastic area on the bottom. Does anyone on the board have a bright idea where to place these where they will be dry and accessable? Would it be crazy/smelly/fire hazard to place them under the center console? How about fuel primer bulbs, any genius ideas where to mount these??? Help!
