Boat & Motor Anti-Theft
A few years ago I had the outboard lower unit stolen off our Sceptre while it was in my backyard (we were away for a month). Now have repowered, and the boat's back in decent shape... and when our dog barks in the middle of the night I hop out of bed and shine a light on the boat to make sure nobody's messing with it. I realize that if a real pro wants it bad enough he's gonna get it, but I started wondering what you guys are doing in the way of security? I'm thinking chains and case hardened locks on the trailer wheels, a wifi camera, and a motion detector alarm & light combination. Still not sure what to do about the prop and lower unit. Any ideas?

Put a couple of land mines, I have noticed with the protests that there are more thieves outside in the streets than in the prisons

Put a Ficht decal on the new engine.

I’ve lost sleep over this too. I have 2 dogs in the vicinity.
Security lights that light up my whole yard removed the trailer brake actuator during my rebuild WiFi cameras that email/text you on motion are probably a good idea. Going to Put a fence up, but rebuild is taking all my money and time I don’t know what to say about the lower unit. It took me all day to get my suzuki lower unit off When I’m all done, I’ll be putting a gps on it to track it. |

Meet Axel Schwartzbaer Von Liebestropfchen. Securing the parameter since 2014. Never had a problem. USP and Fed Ed verbally told us packages will be at the end of the driveway.
