Sweet rig Basspond!! I don't think you could go wrong either way. Really like the new 23' with a bracket. Love that enclosed transom. What kind of range do you get with 184 gallons? Seems a bit over kill for a 23'.

With the F250 I average 2.4 mpg on an offshore trip so more range than I'll need! Longest trip I've done was 235 miles dock to dock and we burned 95 gal or so.

I would love to have 2.4 mpg. My old Merc 225 EFI this past week was burning a smooth, at very best, 1.5 mpg with a fully loaded boat. When I win the lotto this week a 250 HO e-tec would be finding it's way to the back of my boat.

I had two 23' SeaCrafts between 2005 and 2009, and then moved up to a 26' Regulator in 2010.
I have loved them all. I went to the 26' Regulator because I was getting more and more into offshore fishing and the 26' Regulator fir the bill. Peter

Hi Peter, Did you buy your 23 Seacraft with the twin Yamahas from a guy in Somers Point, NJ a few years back???

Yes I did Patrick. I bought it from him in Feb 2007 and had it until May 2010. That was a 1972 enclosed transom w/twin 200HP OX66's. He had the floor rebuilt by Young Brothers.
