When I saw this on TV last night I just got cold all over...
The day before Strick,Lisa, Sharon and I were up in that exact spot going to lunch. It is a bad corner, because it is there is no speed limit and folks like to take it fast because it is fun sliding the corner. I am guilty of that also....however, never more!

That's very sad, hopefully everyone else made it out without major injuries. That path finder looks pretty messed up, I wonder what the SeaCraft looks like.

Terry, I thought of you and Conner....the blue SeaCraft mentioned. I know you have a 21'er, however Conner has the 25'.

Very bad corner. It would be almost impossible to be on plane and stay in your lane on that corner in anything but a jonboat. I've heard that the SeaCraft had a split in the hull. Sounds like the Pathfinder was run over.

What a shame. Looks like redfish/snook heaven. Narrow twisting and weaving channels surrounded by thick mangroves must be spooky to run through not knowing/seeing whats coming your way at speed. Boating is supposed to be fun What a drag.

That's too bad. One thing that I've noticed about florida is that the channels are really narrow and boats have to pass within feet of each other sometimes. You really have to be on your toes. Terry you are a great skipper. If you recall we were cruising through there very slow. There were a few others that were buzzing by us. I will say that your boat was begging us to give it some more throttle all day long. Good thing the girls were with us! Thanks for keeping us safe.

I was reading the thread, blue, 25 ft seacraft, and never considered the resemblance. Thankfully, it wasn't me.
