I think Cayman Boys problem stems from lack of vision of where they could end up, what it takes to be reasonably successful, maybe lack of ambition, and no realization of what not investing in yourself will do to you in the long run. All too common human condition.

The way I learned the marine A/c business was to go to work for a guy with the understanding that he would pay me less than I was worth and I could ask all the questions I could ask and have access to all his manuals. He was fair and it worked real well, especially for me. He made a profit and I learned a lot, fast. I've offered the same deal to others, would love to pass the business along to somebody else, but no takers.

We would expect nothing less.

You would think glass folks would be knocking for a chance to learn magic?
Awlgrip?
Yep. Your paint is really sweet.

The coral transom had not a wave. Just a great line of the shadow.
Not easy.
