Bracket for a 20'

I believe my boat is a SF, which means nothing to me. I've been torn on selling the boat or restoring as I go. I did some searches and couldnt find my answer. On this 20' center console with a 2005 200hp mercury, what angle and size bracket would I need for this boat?

Also, if I put a bracket and swim platform on my boat, does that mean I won't be able to put a power pole on it later down the road?

Don't know what that motor weighs, but I'm sure it's well over 400 lbs, so the CG shift caused by moving it aft by 30" or so on a bracket will push your min planing speed up into the low 20's! (A WELL-BALANCED 20 with a light motor will plane easily at around 12 mph, even with a heavy load in it!) At a minimum, you'll want to switch to a good stern lifting 4B prop and maybe a Doelfin or equivalent on the AV plate to fix that problem. Sliding the console, batteries and gas tank forward would also help. A big flotation tank will help minimize the effect of the CG shift at rest, although it won't help when you're up on plane.

I'd recommend a Hermco bracket with the smallest setback you can live with. Don can build you a 18, 24, or 30" version. They have the largest flotation tank of any bracket, are all glass, and were designed by Bill Potter specifically for the SeaCraft hull. I'd rig it like Don recommends, with all the cables going down into the bracket tub and then through the transom, to leave a nice clean swim platform that's easy to walk across.
