Default 23' CC Scupper Question

wondering how the experts on here would handle this scenario. existing scuppers on a 23' CC are in good condition and blocking in front of scuppers on the bottom of the boat are still in place... my question is with the addition of a hermco bracket and a 300 etec, will these scuppers need to be abandoned and new ones created? i would appreciate any suggestions or experiences from others...thanks

I assume you are talking about the blocking inside the hull between the hull and liner?

If everything is still in good shape then you should be fine. Your boat should still self bail as it did before adding the bracket. I see in some pevious posts you are working on the transom in which case it would be nice to exit the scuppers out the stern above the water line...a little more work but worth it.
