Default Man do we have snow!

Started snowing around 7am, we had a foot by 11, just went out now (to rob beer from my neighbors house ) and it's up to my knee without hitting bottom. Oh yeh, it's blowing 30kts too. No end to this storm seen yet, hope my neighbor has enough beer.

Finster, I just cracked open another Becks Dark in solidarity. No snow here but I don't want you to drink alone!

Harpoon Winter Warmer - we'll see the snow starting tomorrow but we'll probably get only a foot or so. Dusting...

Yeh, we're getting hammered. The only thing that concerns me is the flooding. But we should be OK our house is a wopping 4" about base flood. I'll know better at 8am. We've had the water in the streets before. The Holloween storm put 13" of water in a lot houses off the island......I figure we need an 10+' tide to make it to the house and as of now there calling for maybe 8.5.

Cheers

John, I'm too bored to do much of anything. I'm starting to find Dora the Explorer interesting. And the drifts are too big to ransack my neighbors house for beer. It's still snowing like hell even though the weather people say it's not.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Well see if there are any Cervezas in the Backpack - all kinds of good stuff in there....

We're just starting up - probably 3-4 inches or so now and supposed to go until 10 am or so tomorrow... About to make shovel pass #1 in ten minutes...

Finster-

The Weather Channel just reported that Little Egg Harbor, Nj got 2 feet of snow. I am sure with the snow, its much worse.

So far in Boston, we've got maybe 8 inches, but it is supposed to snow until 2am. Plus, the wind is blowing about 25 knots...

Should have gone to the boat show today!

It sounds like all of you have your work cut out for you - only half bad if your wives help out! i heard from friends in westport, ct that there were more snowmobiles on the roads than snowplows. Not much else to do on a day like today. Easy on those backs, fellas (better to clear out twice and half as much than wait for the blizzard-like pile-up i would think?), and if you have to head out, BE CAREFUL. (Just out of curiosity, are the liquor stores open?) BB, quite kind of you to offer your services to those nurses - hospitals don't have the prerogative to shut down no matter what the weather. Luckily for the postmen in the mid-Atlantic/Northeast, today's a holiday.

Hey,

So far, no snow in West Palm Beach yet... Got a little sun burn at the sand bar yesterday...
